Founded by Captain Lila Dale (it/they/she), Good Girl Garage grew out of a lifelong obsession with making things run—and making them run better. Lila holds a B.S. in Engineering from Oregon State University, pairing a solid foundation in design with over fifteen years of hands-on experience under the hood and at the fabrication bench. As a mechanic, fabricator, and engineer, Lila loves tackling the unique puzzles neo-classic cars present—whether that means tracking down a tricky electrical diagnostic, designing a custom 3D-printed part, or building a custom parts from scratch. Lila’s approach is all about practical, high-precision engineering with a personal touch, ensuring every vehicle and custom component is built for real-world durability, serviceability, and pure driving joy.
